The second central meeting for the Palestinian Human Right Defenders (PHRDs) Network’s coordinators in the West Bank and Gaza was held by MUSAWA, in cooperation with the Network, for the purpose of reviewing its rules of procedure, enhancing participation and democracy in the work in order to activate the role of the PHRDs Network and contribute to its goals, and agreeing on a mechanism for the Network’s members to carry-out activities in the upcoming period. Throughout July 2016, eight meetings in eight different areas (Ramallah, Jerusalem and Jericho; Salfeet and Nablus; Tulqarm and Qalqilya; Jenin and Tubas; Bethlehem and Hebron; Gaza and North Gaza; Gaza’s Middle Governorate; Khan Yunis and Rafah) were carried-out by MUSAWA in cooperation with the Palestinian Human Right Defenders Network.
