A periodic meeting for the coordinators of the Palestinian Human Rights Defenders Network was held in December by MUSAWA and the Network at MUSAWA’s offices in Ramallah and Gaza. Aiming at reaching an agreement on the mechanism for implementing the Palestinian Human Rights Defenders (PHRDs) Network’s activities throughout December, and celebrating the international day of human rights, MUSAWA along with the PHRDs Network organized and conducted the Network’s November meetings in eight different areas (Ramallah, Jerusalem and Jericho; Salfeet and Nablus; Tulqarm and Qalqilya; Jenin and Tubas; Bethlehem and Hebron; Gaza and North Gaza; Gaza’s Middle Governorate; Khan Yunis and Rafah). MUSAWA – The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession held the first conference for the Lawyers for the Rule of Law Groups (friends of MUSAWA) in the West Bank and Gaza Strip through video conference. 94 members participated in the conference, including 33 women and 61 men.
