Reminder to Public Prosecution Regarding Action Taken to Address Serious Mistake

Subject: second reminder of our request to the Public Prosecution to state the actions taken regarding the serious professional mistake made by the Public Prosecution, as clearly established by the Court of Cessation

MUSAWA – The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession extend their warmest greetings, noting to your Excellency that we had previously sent a memo to you on 19/03/2018, asking that we be informed of the actions taken on your part to address the complaint we received concerning the serious professional mistake made by the Public Prosecution, as clearly established by the Court of Cessation. The memo was sent in response to a complaint we had received in this regard. This was followed by a repetition of the same request, which was established orally during your meeting with MUSAWA’s General Manager. To this day, we have not received your response duly.

Therefore, we reiterate our request to be informed of the action taken to address the said complaint and develop the performance of prosecutors.
