MUSAWA – The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession announces the publishing of issue no. (35) of Justice and Law; a journal which contains academically-assessed legal studies and research, aimed at identifying the weaknesses of the existing Palestinian legislation or administrative policies in order to induce decision-makers to enact legislative amendments and rectify administrative imbalances. The journal contains commentaries/views on the final rulings issued by the Palestinian courts.


Comprising of 161 mid-size pages, the issue contains research on Moratoriums, prepared by Adv. Mo'men Al-Natoor from Gaza, and reviewed by several specialized scholars, including Dr. Tareq Al- Dirawi and Dr. Tamer Al-Qadi. The issue also contains four commentaries on four verdicts: (1) a verdict rendered by the Supreme Court of Justice on Ignorance in Administrative Appeal Regulations; (2) a verdict rendered by the Court of Cessation on a criminal appeal concerning extending the duration of appeals; (3) a verdict rendered by the Court of Cessation on a civil appeal concerning wage increases, (4) and a verdict rendered by the  Court of Cessation on a civil appeal concerning the impact of unregistering the apartment sale contracts. All commentaries were provided by judges, law professors, lawyers, and specialized academics from Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine.
