MUSAWA & Over 100 CSOs Demand that Public Officials in Gaza be Paid
The Palestinian NGOs Network (PNGO) and human rights organizations issued an urgent appeal signed by more than 100 Palestinian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem, in which they demand that the salaries of public officials be paid, the Israeli siege no longer exist, and an end is put to the serious deterioration in the Gaza Strip.
The appeal called for an immediate decision to pay the salaries, given that this is a natural right guaranteed by the law. In addition, they called for the neutralization of the population of the Gaza Strip as well as the fundamental services and rights to which they are entitled. The people of Gaza shall not be placed in the midst of political conflicts.
