MUSAWA Conducts Two Workshops on Sexual Harassment and Cyber Blackmailing

MUSAWA – The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession, conducted two training workshops on Sexual Harassment and Cyber Blackmailing. The first was conducted on September 18, 2018, in cooperation with Shoruq Organization in al-Dheisheh camp, and the second on September 20, 2018, in cooperation with the Popular Committee at Aqbet Jaber camp.

These workshops come as part of the Legal Clinic program, under which MUSAWA conducts awareness workshops and offers legal counseling in marginalized areas as well as for school students, both in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Forty-five women and students participated in the workshop, which was facilitated by members of the Lawyers for the Rule of Law Groups (Friends of MUSAWA), Adv. Majida Awajneh and Adv. Haya Bannourah.
