MUSAWA, The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession, received a written response on 25/09/2022 numbered (268/2022) from the head of the internal control and complaints unit in the Palestinian Land and Water Settlement Commission, Mr. Hasan Sharaka. The commission acknowledged the validity of the details stated in MUSAWA’s memo addressed to the commission on 12/09/2022, regarding the issues facing the land settlement court in Birzeit.

The commission pledged to move the court to a new building soon, without specifying a date, making sure that the new building has all the basic facilities and meets all requirements of the court. Due to the importance of this response from a legal standpoint, MUSAWA publishes it in its original form.
