Invitation: the Press Conference of the 5th Legal Monitor Report

 

MUSAWA- the Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary Legal Profession in cooperation with Strengthening the Rule of Law in the State of Palestine- SAWASYA Program, funded by The Netherlands Representative Office (NRO), cordially invite you to attend the press conference of launching of the Fifth Legal Monitor report- the national report on the perceptions of the Palestinian Community on the performance of the justice system in Palestine, which also examines the changes within the justice sector in Palestine between 2015 and 2018.

 

Time:  Wednesday, December 19th between 12:30 to 15:00

Place: Palestinian Red Crescent Society-  Al-Bireh-Ramallah /Al-Quds Street and

Gaza/ Tal Al-Hawa/ next to Al-Quds Hospital, via video conference.

 

Agenda: 

  • Opening speech of The Netherlands Representative Office by Mrs. Floor Nuiten, Deputy Representative / Head of Cooperation.
  • Opening speech of Sawasya Program by Mr. Christopher Decker, the head of Sawasya program.
  • Opening speech of MUSAWA by Dr. Taleb Awad, the Chairman of MUSAWA.
  • Presentation on the methodology of data collection by Mr. Mustafa Khawaja, the director of records and statistical control at the PCBS.
  • Presentation on the main findings of the survey by Dr. Shaker Khalil, the researcher.
  • Discussion and recommendations.
  • Final recommendations by Ms. Ahlam Tarayra, the executive director of MUSAWA.
