Subject: Investigation and Legal Action Shall Be Carried Out Regarding Violating the Professional Code of Conduct and Impersonating an Agent in Contravention with the Rule of Law

 MUSAWA- The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal profession extends its warmest greetings to your Excellences, noting that MUSAWA’s office in Gaza has received a written complaint from the citizen: Anwar Muhareb Ayyad, resident in Gaza, including his claim that Adv. (…….. …..) has filed an executive case with Gaza’s Court of First Instance, in which he attached his power of attorney certificate on behalf of the complainant, claiming that the complainant is convicted and under sentence. The complainant added that the lawyer carried out those actions without him knowing anything, or even hiring him in the first place. However, a sentence has been delivered in the abovementioned case against the complainant, again without informing the complainant or notifying him with the procedures taken against him, as the lawyer was representing the complainant without him knowing.    

Thus, we ask your excellences to open an inquiry into this complaint, to take the needed legal action in its regard, to grant the complainant the permission to mal-judge the lawyer, and to keep us updated with the action taken by your side duly.
