MUSAWA- The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession, has received the Attorney General’s reply to the center's memo sent on 9/4/2019 demanding the Public Prosecution to abolish the "Subjugating Custody” procedure, which is adopted by the Sharia Courts in Gaza Strip under the Public Prosecution’s silence toward Human Rights’ violations, including the aforementioned procedure.
As MUSAWA shares the Public Prosecution’s response with you, it commits to its vision that such procedures entail serious violations against Human Rights and Human Dignity, and impeds the citizens from enjoying their Constitutional and Human Rights.
